This is a talk I gave during a show of my artist books at the Hickory Museum of Art in 2022. The video was recorded spur of the moment on my phone by my husband. I was very fortunate to receive a grant to have some professional editing done with an emphasis on being able to show more details of the books as each one was discussed. This project was supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, the Arts & Science Council, and the Cabarrus Arts Council. Cool Books! I have the attention span of a gnat sometimes and watched this over a couple of sittings and rewatched some sections. I LOVED watching and listening to you talk about your books and how they came to be.

Hi Michele, Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Thank you so, so much for your very kind comments and also taking the time to watch the video. I know it is a bit long for one sitting. I tend to watch movies over several days as well so I get what you mean. The gentleman who edited this, Robert Y. Lee, did a great job. He actually has worked on production of several PBS documentaries; I was lucky to have him as my editor! Thanks again!
